Pricing for Vault 4.1 and Fortress 1.1

Basic Pricing

Both Vault and Fortress are priced on the basis of “one active named user account.” For each active login on your Vault or Fortress server, you need one user license. The base prices for these licenses are:

In June 2007, SourceGear’s product lineup changed with the introduction of two major product releases:

• Vault 4.0 is the latest major release of SourceGear Vault.
  
• Fortress 1.0 is an Application Lifecycle Management solution for small and medium-sized teams, combining the source control features of Vault and the work item tracking features of Dragnet into a single product with tight integration.

In conjunction with these product releases, several changes are being made:

• No further development of new features will be done on the Dragnet product. Dragnet 1.0 will continue to be available and will be maintained with any necessary critical fixes.
  
• Our “Gold Support” program is being discontinued. In its place, we are offering a maintenance plan which is simpler and less expensive.
  
• Pricing of SourceGear Vault is being restructured. The base price has increased, but with the lower price of maintenance compared to the previous Gold Support program, the total cost remains approximately the same.
  
• Users who want to trade-up from Vault and/or Dragnet to Fortress can do so with special pricing offers.
