- Server (system requirements)
- Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP Professional (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 2003 server (32-bit and 64-bit), or Windows Vista (Business and Ultimate)
- Vault 3.5.2 is supported on 32-bit and 64-bit Vista using the .NET Framework 1.1 and IIS 6 running in 32-bit compatibility mode.
- Vault 4.0.x is supported on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP Pro using the 32-bit .NET Framework 2.0 and IIS 5 running in 32-bit compatibility mode (for XP 64-bit).
- Vault 4.0.x is supported on 32-bit Vista ONLY using the 32-bit .NET Framework 2.0.
- MSDE 2000 (SP3a), SQL Server 2000 (SP3a), SQL Server 2005 (SP1), or SQL Server Express 2005 (SP1)
- IIS 5.0 or higher with .NET Framework 2.0

For each release of Vault, there are multiple files, each of which is explained below:
Server
(Approx 24 MB) |
This installer includes the Vault server, the client, and the admin tool. Run this installer only on the server machine. |
Client
(Approx 11 MB) |
This installer includes the Vault client. Run this installer on every client/desktop machine. |
VSS Import Tool
(Approx 3 MB) |
This installer includes Vault's VSS Import tool. Please read this information before using it. |
Client API
(Approx 1 MB) |
For Windows. This installer includes libraries (.NET assemblies) for building custom Vault clients as well as source code for the Vault command-line client. Ask questions on our support forum if you need help. |
Java Command Line Client (CLC)
(Approx 18 MB) |
Cross-platform command-line access to Vault repositories. Also includes the Java-callable version of our Client API libraries. |
